CPC Halifax Citadel Annual Grant Program

Charitable Grant Application

Each year, the Canadian Progress Club Halifax Citadel supports charities through our Charitable Grant Program for the fiscal year. . 

Applications for grants from CPC Halifax Citadel will be judged based on merit, impact, intended outcomes and perceived need.  Funding priorities include:

-Registered Charitable Organizations.
-Organizations whose mandate includes supporting women & children.
-Funding requests that do not include administration or staffing costs.

 Funding will only be given to applicants that identify a specific project or item that the funding will be used for. 

We have two major fundraising events each year, Girls Night Out (April) and The Charity Golf Classic (September). We will be selecting one Partner Level charity for each event and four Associate Partner Level charities.

Please note: If our full project funding is not awarded, is there a $500 expense you would like to be considered for should our club hold a Spread the Joy Campaign this year?  Please advise what the expense would be. Please add this information to your email when you send in your application.

Successful applicants will be expected to assist in the promotion of the fundraising events that CPC Halifax Citadel will be running on behalf of all recipients of our Charitable Grant Program from July 2026 – April 2027.
